There is a bus stop outside the church for transport from the city centre.
Parking in the immediate vicinity of the church is restricted to local residents, and is time-limited on London Road and Victoria Park Road. There is limited parking in streets on the South side of the roundabout near the church.

Access: 1 small step to the lobby by the Large Hall; gently sloping ramp to the church from London Road; Lift between lower (Hall) level and church.
Participants who are wheelchair users or who have mobility needs are asked to make contact before 16th June to discuss specific arrangements – ‘phone John Owen on 0116 2865252

Toilets: At lower (Hall) level (no stairs); also at higher (church) level accessed by stairs.

Timetable:
12.30 Assemble in St. James’ Large Hall on St. James’ Terrace at the rear of the church to confirm attendance, or register if not already pre-paid; and to collect music.
13:45 Assemble in the church for seating allocation – please be prompt!
14:00 Rehearsal 1
15:15 Break
16:00 Rehearsal 2
17:15 Break
17:50 Assemble in church in allocated seats
18:00 Performance, including a short interval
19:45 (approx) End

Dress:
Informal, but please bear in mind that we are singing in a place of worship.

The City of Leicester Singers will rehearse the items during their summer term to provide a core of experience.
Participants are invited to join the choir for their final 2 rehearsals on Mondays 28th May and 11th June.
We rehearse at Clarendon Park Congregational Church at the junction of London Road and Springfield Road, LE2 3BE from 19.15 to 21.15. If you wish to come along, just turn up!

Fees for participants including loan of music:
£15 if prepaid by June 1st 2012
£20 on the day
£5 student singers over 16
Please note: we are unable to include singers under 16 on this occasion.
